A bill was approved in the Senate that criminalizes bullying and cyberbullying. The text also transforms several acts committed against children and adolescents into heinous crimes, such as child pornography, kidnapping and encouraging self-harm. Public or private schools must also maintain updated registration forms and criminal record certificates for all their employees, regardless of whether they receive public resources.
