Among the Sensex’s top 15% gainers were Seemac Limited (19.55%), GM Polyblast (18.29%), Welspun Corp (17.37%), JK Laxmi Cement (16.95%), Somdot Finn (16.67%) and Remsense Ind (16.55). %), Arvind Smart Space (16.54%), Nava Bharat Vent. (15.87%), Callum Textiles (15.54%) and McMahon Finechem Limited (15.38%).

The 30-share Sensex was up 1534.16 points at 54326.39 and the Nifty was up 456.75 points at 16266.15.

Meanwhile, shares of Welfson Corp, Nava Bharat Wendt, Greer & Weil, Rose Merck and Brevecom Com hit new 52-week highs today.
