It is easier for any voter (…) there is no other better alternative“Andrés Tagle stated.

Regarding the proposal to hold the municipal election on a double day, the president of Servel recalled that In 2021 there was already an election with a double day.

The tables had special stamps to put on the secret chamber and its material in the boxes, for example, blank votes. That was kept in a special room that in turn had a seal that placed it on the delegate. And this room remained in the custody of the Armed Forces overnight,” he recalled.

It will be next October 27, Chileans will elect mayors, governors, CORES and councilors. On that occasion the vote will be mandatory.
