The Combatant Forces have again inflicted several setbacks on armed terrorist groups, killing several of their elements and recovering equipment, AIB learned on Wednesday April 5, 2023, from security sources.

In Mangodara in the Cascades region, the FDS and the VDP neutralized 18 terrorists during a clash. Equipment was destroyed and logistics recovered. In addition to ground troops, air vectors were put to use.
In the Center-North, several assailants were struck down in the areas of Tougouri and Taparko. The Combatant Forces then carried out searches which resulted in the killing of many fugitives and the recovery of equipment.
In the Eastern region, the assailants who attacked Kantchari and Foutouri suffered a defeat. Several of them were neutralized. According to our information, operations for the reconquest of the territory and stability will continue and intensify in the days to come.
The military authorities ask the lost who have joined the armed terrorist groups to lay down their arms, otherwise they will all perish.
