Several people were slightly injured by stabbing, Wednesday, January 11, Gare du Nord in Paris. The alleged perpetrator of the attack was immediately arrested by the police.
The facts took place around 6:45 a.m. in the largest station in Europe, which welcomes 700,000 travelers a day. For an undetermined reason, the man attacked and injured several people. The police overpowered him by using their weapon, according to Agence Presse-Presse.
The assailant, slightly injured, was taken care of on the spot by the emergency services. A security perimeter was immediately deployed. The Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, welcomed on Twitter the “effective and courageous reaction” law enforcement.
