The first look of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi’ web series grabbed attention with the tagline “Welcome to the world of sex workers who were queens”.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a leading director in Bollywood. In 2022, he directed Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gangubai Khadiwadi’. Following this film, he is directing a web series. Titled ‘Heeramandi’, the series will be released on the Netflix OTT platform.
It stars a huge ensemble cast including Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Sada, Sharmin Sehgal and Sanjeeta Shaikh. ‘Heeramandi’ is set in the pre-independence era. In this case, now the first look video has been released and it is being celebrated by the fans.
