Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Alhasan became the first wicket-taker in Twenty20 international cricket. After his brilliant performance in the second match against Ireland, he became the highest wicket-taker in Twenty20.

Shakib made his Twenty20 debut for Bangladesh against Zimbabwe in 2006 and has played 114 matches so far.
