Sharjah: Sharjah-Fujairah intercity bus service resumed. This was informed by the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority. Sharjah suspended the bus service to Fujairah on July 28 due to waterlogging due to heavy rain.

Meanwhile, the Transport Authority has not resumed service to the two routes to Khorfaqan and Kalba via Fujairah. Roads leading to these areas were also closed due to waterlogging and weather changes.
The eastern parts of the UAE have been flooded for the past few days due to heavy rains. Some houses were damaged in the floods and vehicles were washed away. Meanwhile, the Dubai-Fujairah bus service was also suspended.
