Inmet issued a potential danger alert for the state of São Paulo, which has already suffered greatly from heavy rains during the week
The weekend arrived, and after a week of heavy rain in the Center-South, the expectation was for sunshine to take advantage of the brief break. However, according to the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet), the rain will persist, and there is the possibility of hail, especially for the Southeast.
This is due to increased moisture convergence over the region. Today (12), rainfall volumes of around 100 mm are expected, which could be even greater in areas such as the coast of São Paulo and the border between Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais.

The other capitals, Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro and Vitória, will have high temperatures in the coming days.

North East
The rains are expected to be predominant in the east and north of the region, reaching inland areas. Central areas will have firm weather and little risk of rain. All capitals will have temperatures above 29ºC during the weekend.
Norte
The heat and humidity will result in rain showers that could be heavy, with the risk of occasional flooding. Amazonas, Rondônia, Pará, northeast of Amapá and Tocantins are expected to face intense showers, with values above 70 mm and accompanied by lightning, gusts of wind and thunderstorms.
The high temperature persists, and in capitals such as Boa Vista and Macapá, it can reach 38ºC.
