Pelephone will market an overseas package to Egypt Just before the Passover holiday and with the opening of flights to Sharm el-Sheikh, Pelephone will begin marketing a dedicated overseas package to Egypt that includes surfing, calls and SMS messages.
With the opening of flights to Sharm el-Sheikh and just before the Passover holiday, Pelephone is offering for the first time a package abroad dedicated to Egypt at attractive prices to enjoy the holiday even with a smartphone, after in recent years there was no convenient communication solution for vacationers in the country.

Dror Bahat, VP of Marketing for Pelephone, yes and Bezeq International, says: “Ahead of Passover and after two years of Corona, along with the significant increase in Israeli flights abroad, we are seeing an increase in demand for cellular packages.”
“Following requests from customers who plan to fly to Egypt, with the opening of flights to Sharm el-Sheikh, we have made great efforts to sign agreements with the operator in Egypt as soon as possible. This is a destination that is estimated to be very popular in the coming years.”
Pelephone is not the only one to offer mobile roaming services to Israelis in Egypt: Partner is reportedly in negotiations to propose a plan similar to Pelephone, at a similar price but with much more surfing volume. The contract is expected to be signed before the Passover holiday, so Israelis can choose In Sinai.
