The Russian army also shelled Mariupol. Hundreds were reported killed in the attack. Mariupol is a strategic port city near Khazan.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Kharson said that Kharson was under the control of the Russian army. Russia continues to attack Kiev and Kharkiv. The UN report says 227 civilians have been killed and 525 injured in Ukraine so far. More than one million people fled Ukraine in a week.
U.S. Defense Forces officials say Russian military vehicles are parked near Kiev because they run out of fuel. Pro-Russian rebels are moving in here. According to international media reports, clashes between pro-Russian and anti-Russian elements are taking place in many places.

Meanwhile, CNN reported that Russian troops had attacked three schools and a cathedral in Ukraine. Attack scenes were also released. The bomber struck shortly after noon in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city. Educational institutions were closed as the Russian occupation of the country escalated into conflict. The attack on the City Council building in Kharkiv destroyed the Assumption Cathedral and several other buildings. Russia has issued airstrikes in several cities, including Kyiv, Ukraine. In the event of further attacks in Kiev, locals are advised to go to the bunkers.
