Today, Monday, our Olympic team coach, Radhi Shenaishil, set the date for announcing his team’s list for the Asian Championship qualifying for the 2023 Paris Olympics.
Shenaishal told the (INA): “The team’s list will be announced this week, consisting of 23 players,” noting that “professional players will join the team, including Youssef Al-Imam, Amir Al-Amari, Ali Al-Moussawi, and Buland Azad Omar.”
Regarding the player Hussein Lawandi, Shenaishil confirmed, “The player’s situation is difficult and he needs two weeks of solitary training and another two weeks of training with the team. Keeping the player is better than having him participate in the tournament.”
Regarding the unloading of players, Shenaishil stressed, “The clubs will not stand in the way of the players in representing the national team, and all the clubs have a sense of patriotism because the goal of the league and the clubs is to provide the national teams with players.”
Shenaishil added, “The team’s travel to Qatar will be the eighth of this month, and the match against Japan will be held on the eleventh of the same month.”
