On November 14, in Moscow, in Moscow, at the Writers’ Club of the Central House of Writers in Moscow, the creative community said goodbye to the satirical writer Viktor Koklyushkin, who died at the age of 75. The famous artist and friend of the writer Efim Shifrin came to lay flowers at the coffin. However, later the writer Lion Izmailov accused the comedian of betraying Koklyushkin.

Lion Izmailov believes that Shifrin betrayed his teacher and in recent years practically stopped communicating with Koklyushkin.

The 65-year-old comedian replied to the writer on the air of the program “You Won’t Believe It!” on the NTV channel.

“This person (Lion Izmailov) will not get to heaven even with a QR code,” Shifrin said. The artist added that he had never quarreled with Viktor Koklyushkin, neither before his death, nor earlier.

At the same time, Shifrin admitted that in recent years they really began to communicate less often. At the same time, he believes that it is not a man’s business to gossip about it, like Izmailov.

Shifrin explained that in recent years, Koklyushkin himself actually led a reclusive lifestyle and stopped communicating with friends and acquaintances. In his opinion, Izmailov uses this circumstance to settle personal accounts. In the media, versions are expressed that the second wife of the satirist Olga kept him tight-lipped to protect him from alcohol abuse.

Journalist Lev Novozhenov, in particular, suggested that Olga wanted to “protect Viktor Mikhailovich from our bad influence.” He noted that when friends met with Koklyushkin, they liked to “take a walk, drink, eat.” Koklyushkin’s wife believed that it was harmful to her husband.
