A cast of superstars for the new work by director Michael Mann dedicated to the founder of the Maranello car manufacturer
Adam Driver, Penelope Cruz e Shailene Woodley will be the protagonists of «Ferrari»movies in Michael man dedicated to the founder of the Maranello car manufacturer Enzo Ferrari: a cast of stars for a film that the director (“Heat – The challenge”, “Miami Vice”, “Blackhat”) has been in mind for several years and should start shooting in Italy in May. Driver, 38, already in our country recently to shoot “House of Gucci” alongside Lady Gaga, will be the “wizard of Maranello” (part initially conceived for Hugh Jackman), Cruz will play his wife Laura and Woodley will be the lover Lina Lardi.
“Being able to have these extraordinary artists with me and bring these iconic characters back to life in the Modena and Emilia Romagna area where they lived is a dream that finally comes true,” said Mann. The biopic will be the adaptation of Brock Yates’ book “Enzo Ferrari – The man and the machine” and will focus onsummer of 1957the year in which the Cavallino company was about to go bankrupt and Ferrari decided to bet everything on One thousand milesa race won by Ferraris, but marred by a tragic accident.
