Thrilling eastern duel on the Saale: Halle celebrates its second victory in three days with a 2-0 (1-0) win over FSV Zwickau. For the guests, on the other hand, the flight of the last few weeks has stopped for the time being.
4280 fans experience an entertaining and exciting 1st half in which Zwickau misses the chance to lead. Can Coskun’s header lands in the arms of HFC goalkeeper Tim Schreiber (5th).
The goal falls in return: Julian Guttau crosses to Elias Huth, the ex-Zwickau scores at full speed to make it 1-0 (6th). For Huth it is the second goal of the season in the fourth HFC game.
Hall ahead, but not sure. Yannik Möker is able to equalize for FSV, but his left-footed shot only grazes the outer post (10′) – lucky for HFC!
The change continues with verve and speed. Zwickau’s coach Joe Enochs reacts and brings in three fresh people. Almost with success: Yannic Voigt fails at Schreiber, who deflects the left-footed shot around the post (49th).
But the hosts do it better again. A bang from Marcel Titsch Rivero from 20 meters is deflected and wriggles in the FSV goal – 2: 0 (56th)!

Zwickau fights back, but no longer manages to create clear chances. Center forward Ronny König in particular waits in vain for dangerous inputs. In the end, the people of Halle celebrate, jumping to 13th place for the time being thanks to the home win.
