At noon on Wednesday, September 11, a series of shootings were reported in different parts of the city of Villaflores, in the state of Chiapas. So far, no casualties have been reported.
The events occurred around 12 noon when several Internet users through their social networks shared a series of videos documenting the intense shootings in some of the streets of Villaflores.

So far there have been no reports of deaths or of who is firing the shots, but there are reports of fires with large columns of smoke.
Many curious people came to the scene and tried to document the disturbances with their phones. Locals say there is even fear and panic in the streets and they are still waiting for the relevant authorities to come and calm the situation.
