Since the beginning of the war, Austria has invested more in Putin’s army than in the armed forces 2024-03-06 12:35:52

Most recently, Austria imported 98% of natural gas consumption comes from Russia. We researched how much blood money we have already transferred to Vladimir Putin and came up with an astonishing figure: the equivalent of one and a half aircraft carriers, 255 fighter jets, or 1,299 modern battle tanks. Since the beginning of the war, neutral Austria has invested more in Putin’s war machine than in its own army.

It is February 24, 2022. All of Europe realizes that it has become dependent on an imperialist dictator and is reacting. Whole europe? No. A small Alpine republic continues to receive gas from Russia – not less, but more than ever.

Since the beginning of the war, Austria has exactly

transferred to the wanted war criminal Vladimir Putin.

These numbers are based on the Russia Fossil Fuel Tracker from the Finnish Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air.

Urgently needed money that Putin is pouring into his war machine. Only the high revenues from oil and gas enable Russia to wage its war against Ukraine. In 2022 and 2023, the Austrian Armed Forces received a budget of 6.08 billion euros from the government. Neutrality – made in Austria!

Austria has already been wisely described by the Financial Times as a “true aircraft carrier” of Russian espionage in the EU.

For comparison: Thanks to Austrian blood money, Russia could have already afforded over one and a half actual aircraft carriers. The Russian news agency TASS puts these at 5.15 billion euros each. Half the aircraft carrier alone could probably take on the Austrian army.

As a thank you to his sponsors, Putin was supposed to build an Austrian-inspired aircraft carrier, the “SUMSI 23.” A powerful machine that can also score points with Austrian cosiness. She transports Karin Kneissl’s ponies to every corner of the world – armed with Eurofighters as scarecrows. Entertainment is also provided on board: a clown show with Siegfried Wolf, Rainer Seele and Alfred Gusenbauer as well as concerts by the John Otti Band feat. The Swingin’ Kickls are intended to make the soldiers say goodbye to life soon.

Or how about 255 SU-34 fighter jets? Putin could use them after his jets are currently being shot down in droves.

With the Austro-Euros there would be at least 1299 modern T-14 Armata tanks. This is currently not used in Ukraine because, according to a Russian weapons manufacturer, it is simply too beautiful, too young and too expensive.

We saved ourselves having to convert to cheap Lancet drones (approx. 25,000 euros each) because that would exceed our server capacity.

But no worry: As is well known, Austria is strictly neutral. And as a neutral country, we have to support both warring parties, of course. That is why Austria paid Ukraine a whopping 124 million euros in 2022. That’s 0.17% of gross domestic product, almost half as much as the EU average.

We confront Chancellor Karl Nehammer with our numbers. He sent us a written statement: “Even if these processes may be morally questionable for many, there are honestly tangible advantages for Austria: after all, Russian gas is cheap. So cheap that Austrian households have only paid 257% more for their gas since the start of the war. More than anywhere else in Europe. You’re welcome! If you want to be warm in winter, you can go to Mäci and lie down in the deep fryer!”

Austria has done everything right again. As one of the last countries in Europe, the country still imports Russian gas to this day, supporting Russia’s war and also paying handsomely for it. At the Oscars on Sunday, the award will be given in the category “Most Useful Idiot Of The Year.”
