Singapore electricity rates to drop in first 3 months of next year – SP Group

SP Group’s electricity bills are expected to drop by an average of 2.7 percent in the first quarter of next year.

SP Group said it can save 0.79 cents per kilowatt-hour of electricity without adding GST.

It attributed that to lower energy prices in the quarter than in the previous quarter.

Electricity tariff has risen for 6 consecutive quarters since April 2021. But now for the second quarter in a row, the electricity bill has decreased.
