About two weeks later, he was released to his home in a well-publicized press conference, in which he spoke about his injury and the rehabilitation process expected for him, thanked the medical teams who treated him and the people of Israel who prayed for his safety – and tearfully said goodbye to his teammates, who were killed in the same incident in which he was injured.
