SNCF: soon more sober stations thanks to solar energy

There are fields of solar panels in the open countryside, here are now the solar panel car parks of SNCF stations. SNCF Gares et Connexions will install photovoltaic panels on 190,000 m2 of land in 156 stations in France by 2025. A temporary occupancy agreement must be signed with the partner who will be chosen next week, before an official announcement in ten days after the call for expressions of interest published in February. Work will begin immediately.
