Today (Tuesday) will continue to be rainy and cold – from the north of the country to the north of the Negev, strong winds will blow. Local rain is possible in the center of the Negev, and fog with sandstorms is possible in the south of the country. There is a fear of floods in the northern, eastern and northern Negev rivers.
Snow fell on the peaks of the northern mountains above 900 m, which may pile up on the ground, at night there may also be light snow on the high peaks of the central mountains above 900 m.
On Wednesday, the cold wave will continue: the rains will gradually weaken, but will continue to fall from time to time, from the north to the northern Negev. Light snow fell on the peaks of the northern and central mountains above 900 m (not including Jerusalem). In the evening the rain will lessen and the winds will weaken, at night it will be very cold.
On Thursday it will be partly cloudy and colder than usual, there may be local rain in the north of the country and in the center mainly until noon. Snow is possible in Hermon, and an extensive cold system is expected at night.
On Friday it is expected to be partly cloudy, with a slight increase in temperatures, but it will still be colder than usual.
