Sonia Agarwal, who made her film debut with Kadhal Konden, has since acted in several films including 7G Rainbow Colony, Thiruttu Payale and Puthuppettai. He is currently finishing his acting career in the film ‘Grandma’. Speaking at the trailer launch of the film, Sonia Agarwal said:
I played the role of the teacher in the movie Granma. In many films I have acted as a bland woman. Naturally I am a very brave girl. I do not know. I proved that I was a brave girl by slapping a student on the cheek who made fun of me when I was in school.
My mother tongue is Punjabi. I have acted in more than 40 films in four languages namely Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. The next ‘Grandma’ movie is coming to the screen.
I have only one brother. He works as a composer. Although I have an interest in music, I do not sing or act in my own voice. I wish I could act as a singer in a film next. Thus he spoke.
