Sony and Lego invest $2 billion in Epic Games

Today, April 11, the developer of computer games Epic Games announced that it has raised $2 billion in investments to create a metaverse and develop its business. The next investment round was attended by the Japanese corporation Sony and the company Kirkbi, which is the holding company for the Danish manufacturer of designers and other children’s products Lego. Each of the companies has invested $1 billion in Epic Games, based on the assessment of the entire developer at $31.5 billion.

Previously, Epic Games, Sony and Lego announced a long-term partnership that includes building a metaverse for kids of all ages. This play experience is expected to unleash the creativity in children.
