Sony’s advanced display solutions are now central to the collaborative workspace of Miro, the leading AI-powered visual collaboration platform. The installation, completed in Amsterdam, underscores a growing trend of companies prioritizing immersive technology and sustainable practices in their office environments.
Miro’s new 10,000 square meter headquarters has been designed as a modular environment adaptable to the evolving needs of hybrid working models. At the heart of this innovative space is a large CLED display from Sony’s CH Series, prominently featured in the cafe and events area. This display boasts an ultra-fine pixel pitch, a wide color gamut, and high brightness, creating a dynamic canvas for company-wide gatherings, presentations, and engaging experiences.
Enhancing Collaboration with Sony Bravia Displays
Beyond the centerpiece CLED installation, the project – delivered by AV integrator Windside Digital – incorporates over 40 Sony Bravia displays throughout Miro’s meeting rooms. These screens, encompassing the BZ40L and BZ30L series and ranging in size from 50” to 75”, deliver stunning 4K HDR picture quality and seamless integration with popular videoconferencing platforms.
A key driver in Miro’s decision was Sony’s Deep Black Non-Glare (DBNG) technology, available on the BZ40L and BZ53L series. This technology ensures clear, high-contrast visuals even in brightly lit meeting spaces, particularly those with glass walls. “Windside Digital advised us to use Sony’s Bravia technology, as this fits all Miro requirements perfectly: non-glare, high brightness and remotely manageable,” stated a senior official at Miro.
Sustainability as a Core Consideration
Miro’s commitment to environmental responsibility also played a significant role in the selection of Sony displays. Energy-saving features, including automatic light sensors and efficient power management, contribute to a reduced environmental footprint. Furthermore, the utilization of Sorplas recycled plastic in many Bravia models aligns with Miro’s sustainability goals.
“At Miro, we believe that the spaces people work in should be just as innovative as the tools they use,” a company release noted. “Sony’s displays help us bring that vision to life – whether it’s connecting with colleagues worldwide or inspiring teams during live events.” The official added that the support for sustainable practices was a “crucial benefit” in the decision-making process.
The Crystal LED installation stood out during the vendor selection process, according to Miro, with its design and screen quality exceeding alternatives. This investment in advanced display technology reflects Miro’s dedication to fostering a cutting-edge and collaborative work environment for its global teams.
