The shooting of the film, in which Soubin plays the title role, began on September 29 in Kattappana. Written and directed by debutant Anish Jose Moothedan, the film is produced by Anil Mathew under the banner of Meri Mata Productions.

After working in the field of VFX direction and ad films, Anish Jose Moothedan is entering the field of feature films. The story of the film revolves around a few Christian families in the background of hilly migrant farmers. Through the film, the story of the relationships is told by integrating the land science, customs and culture of the immigrants. The film tells the story of Abel, a member of a migrant farming family. While Soubin plays Abel, Athi Ravi plays the heroine. A heartwarming love story accompanies the story as it unfolds through the family background. All this is presented through small moments with a touch of humor in the film.

Director Anish Jose said that the film has cast actors who are very suitable for the roles of Tarapolimakappuram. Nistar Ahmed Seth, Lena, Johnny Anthony, Joji Mundakayam (of Joji fame), Alencier, Srikanth Murali, Harilal, Harish Pengan, Seema G. Nair and Angelina Joy also play the lead roles.
