SpaceX canceled the launch of the Falcon Heavy launch vehicle with the ViaSat 3 Americas satellite a minute before the launch. The reason for the cancellation of the launch is not yet known. A new start attempt may take place in a day.
SpaceX has scheduled two launches on April 29. The first – at 01:12 Moscow time – from the cosmodrome at Cape Canaveral passed normally. The Falcon 9 booster sent two O3b mPOWER satellites into orbit for the Luxembourg satellite company SES.
The second launch – Falcon Heavy with ViaSat 3 – was scheduled for 2:29 Moscow time from a site located 5 km from the first launch. On the SpaceX Twitter account celebratedthat the rocket and payload remain in good condition. The ViaSat 3 Americas satellite is designed to provide an Internet signal in rural areas, on passenger airliners and ships.
