Spain – Costa Rica: live report from the World Cup

by time news

The Spanish national team and Costa Rica took to the grass tonight at the Thomama Stadium in Doha, for a match in the opening round of the fifth round of the World Cup. The Spaniards are clear favorites to win, but Costa Rica has already known how to surprise teams like England and Uruguay in the past and will try to do the same this time.

Dani Olmo and Fran Torres started in the front and they will try to help Marco Asensio who should be the main executor. The link trio consists of Barcelona players, Sergio Busquets, Federico and Gabi, with Rodri being placed as a stopper next to Emerick Laporte. In Costa Rica veterans Keylor Navas, Brian Ruiz and Joel Campbell all started.
