According to the Traffic Police, a special vehicle inspection in Chennai has registered 1,595 cases of speeding, 403 cases of speeding and 96 cases of speeding.
Authorities are taking various measures to control traffic offenses and traffic congestion in Chennai and reduce accidents. In that manner, a special vehicle inspection was carried out all over the city of Chennai yesterday. A total of 1,595 cases of misconduct were registered in the audit, including 674 cases in the northern zone, 407 cases in the southern zone and 514 cases in the eastern zone.
In addition, a total of 403 cases were registered in the northern zone, 101 cases in the southern zone, 165 cases in the southern zone and 137 cases in the eastern zone in connection with speeding.
Similarly, a total of 96 cases were registered in connection with speeding, including 14 cases in the northern zone, 46 cases in the southern zone and 36 cases in the eastern zone. Further, the Chennai Traffic Police has requested that these special vehicle inspections be continued and that the public be given due co-operation.
