A page of artwork from the 1984 Spider-Man comic book sold for $ 3.36 million at auction on Thursday. The 25-page Mike Sec work of art from Marvel Comics’ Secret Wars No. 8 sold for 24 crores. This is the first look at Spidey’s black suit. This would later lead to the emergence of the character Venom.

It started at US $ 330,000 and rose to over US $ 3 million. The record was set on the first day of a four-day comic event’s heritage auction in Dallas.
