Consumers have complained that the price of construction materials in Sri Lanka has not yet been reduced.

In the past, the prices of many construction materials have risen from time to time in line with the appreciation of the dollar.

Currently, the rupee has strengthened against the dollar.

However, consumers have complained that the price of construction equipment has not decreased accordingly.

In this regard, Sri Lanka Construction Association President Susanda Lianarachchi mentioned that the prices of materials used for construction are still high.
