Munshaat, the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, revealed that more than a thousand brands have come forward to start franchises in Saudi Arabia. Most of these are foreign brands and rest are local brands. More and more franchises are starting in food and beverage and retail services.
This will help bring international companies to the country and activate the market. The Ministry also said that this is an opportunity for small investors and entrepreneurs in the country to grow their business.
