Before that, Ranil Wickramasinghe is planning to solve the problem of Tamils ​​which is the main problem of the country. He has called for an all party consultative meeting for this.

He recently informed the Parliament that this meeting will be held after 11th of next month (December). He then said that building trust between the majority Sinhalese and Tamils ​​is important in finding a solution to the country’s long-term problem.

The Sri Lankan President’s recommendation has been welcomed by the country’s main Tamil alliance, the Tamil National Federation. Also decided to participate in this meeting.

Following this, the Tamil parties are consulting on the plans to be presented in the all-party meeting.

In this way, the representatives of Tamil parties met and discussed at the house of Tamil National Federation President Sampanthan yesterday. At that time, the Tamil parties have finalized a 3-point plan to be presented in the all-party meeting.

Accordingly, it has been decided to emphasize in the all-party meeting 3 aspects which should include devolution of power to Tamils ​​in the new constitution, hold provincial elections that have been suspended, and stop expropriation of Tamil lands by the government.

In this regard, the Tamil parties have decided to meet again before the all-party meeting.
