SSC Children’s Tour brings together 2,500 attendees

In its second edition and on the occasion of Children’s Day, the Children’s Tour of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) The capital brought together 2,500 attendees on a tour from the Angel of Independence to the Monument to the Revolution.

In the company of his family, boys and girls got their bicycles, tricycles and skates ready for the starting signal, led by the Secretary of Security, Pablo Vázquez Camacho.

“The shot has as a message union, peace and coexistence in a safer city,” highlighted the secretary when thanking the attendees for their participation.

At exactly 9:00 a.m., around 2,500 attendeesmostly children, began a two-kilometer journey, heading to the Monument to the Revolution.

During the journey, the attendees were protected by uniformed personnel and accompanied by bottargas from different areas of the SSC.

Upon arrival at the finish line, the children and their companions received a recovery kit plus a medal and gifts.

Present at the event were the Undersecretary of Institutional Development, Marcela Figueroa Franco; the Director General of the PBIElpidio de la Cruz Contreras and the General Director of the Auxiliary Police Lorenzo Gutiérrez Ibáñez among other officials of the institution.
