(Stadthagen) Susanne Tünnermann, the lead organizer of the “Sport in the Park” campaign, presented a donation of 250 euros to Stadthagen Mayor Oliver Theiss for the palace gardens.
The money comes from the closing event of “Sport im Park”.
Mayor Oliver Theiss thanked for the donation and emphasized that the city would benefit twice in this way. “Sport in the Park” is a valuable enrichment for Stadthagen with the additional training offer for everyone. It is very gratifying that a donation is now also being made.

For about a month in the spring, “Sport im Park” gave anyone interested the opportunity to complete outdoor training sessions ranging from Pilates to hula hoop workouts. Clubs, fitness studios and other providers set up the free program. At the closing event, the organizers offered a raffle.
Susanne Tünnermann explained that the sum of 250 euros was raised through the sale of tickets and some donations. It made sense to donate the money for the beautification of the castle garden, where “Sport im Park” takes place. Oliver Theiss explained that the city would use the money to plant one of the roundabouts on the site. (Text & Foto: bb)
