In a phone call he later had with the “Morning” show, Stamatis Gardelis said that his detention is related to a dispute over the plot of land where his house is built, something he has mentioned other times in the past.

Finally, the actor explained the circumstances under which he was booked.
“They asked for my detention because I insisted on being tried today. I want to be tried, I’m not begging anyone.
