International vocal project “You are super!” channel NTV enters a new age orbit. Now talented people who are over sixty years old and who for various reasons were left without the support of their relatives and friends can take part in it. The premiere of the new show format will take place on May 16. Before filming began, the star judges of the project spoke about their expectations.
Composer and producer Igor Krutoy has been a real expert in a variety of competitions for several years now. In “You are super!” Igor Yakovlevich has been a permanent member of the jury since the second season of the project. And during his judging, he was remembered by both the audience and the contestants as a very strict judge. But at the same time, Igor Yakovlevich often provided great assistance to young contestants. However, this time the specifics of refereeing may change radically.
“I think that it will be, firstly, more difficult than in the children’s competition, and secondly, more touching, – said Igor Krutoy before filming. – Each participant has his own story, he went his own way, and each of them is alone in different manifestations. And this is a huge tragedy. When people gather to put it out in music and songs, it will be a “no-anesthetic operation.” I had no experience of refereeing in such a project, and so far it is difficult for me to imagine how I will referee ”.
Diana Arbenina is also no stranger to the You are super project. She first appeared as a jury member in the superseason of the children’s project, and then took part in the fourth season of the show. But this time, the rock diva intends to reconsider her approach to judging. “This will be my first experience of judging adults, where the age factor matters,” says Diana. – I do not think that I have the right to judge, but I really want to give those people who are more years old than us, the opportunity to go on stage, reach for their dreams. I want to help people who have wanted to sing all their lives. “
For Stas Piekha “You are super!” not just another talent contest. In 2017, he was on the jury for the first season and did a lot to create the signature atmosphere of the program. Now the singer will judge the performances of the adult participants in the show, and before filming starts, he understands well that this competition is fundamentally different from the children’s one. “There are many age subtleties here, it is very difficult to judge, you need to filter both humor and emotionally a completely different color,” the singer is sure. – I think that in this situation it is necessary not so much to judge as to select words, and it seems to me that it is more correct to do this, relying on your own emotions and feelings, than to adjust everything to some kind of templates. I wish the participants to get the maximum pleasure from what they are doing, show off, laugh, just try and not be afraid of anything at all. “
Irina Dubtsova participated in the fourth season of the children’s “You are super!” like a star guest. In the show, she supported Elizaveta Elina from Petrozavodsk, performing with her her iconic hit “About him”. This time the singer will take a place in the jury. “I have been on different sides of different projects and I will note that I myself started with a talent project. Therefore, I know very well how a person who goes out to sing in front of the jury feels, – says Irina. – I would like to note the age category of the project – this is not the main thing, but the main thing is the soul and burning eyes! ”.
