Detran-MS (State Department of Traffic of Mato Grosso do Sul) announced the vehicle licensing calendar for the year 2024. The schedule will start in April and continue until October, with specific expiration dates according to the end of plate of each vehicle.
The CRLV (Vehicle Registration and Licensing Certificate), popularly known as annual licensing, is a mandatory document for all motor vehicle owners in Brazil. The fee amount is fixed, applied to all vehicles in the state, regardless of the age of the car.
Check the table below with licensing payment dates, according to the end of the plate in MS.
- Plates with endings 1 and 2: April;
- Plates with ending 3: May;
- Plates with endings 4 and 5: June;
- Plates ending 6: July;
- Plates with endings 7 and 8: August;
- Plates ending 9: September;
- Plates ending 0: October.
It is important to observe the deadline established for licensing, as failure to regularize within the specified period results in serious consequences. Among the characterization of a very serious infraction, the removal of the vehicle to the yard, the application of a fine in the amount of R$ 293.47 and the application of seven points on the driver’s license, as provided for by the CTB (Brazilian Traffic Code).
