The state of health of the leader of the Belarusian opposition, political prisoner Nikolai Statkevich, has deteriorated in the colony. This was told to Pozirk by a source close to his family.
He explained that it is virtually impossible to get more information about the condition of the political prisoner because of the conditions of his detention. Most of the time, Statkevich is in solitary confinement under a special regime and sees people only if he is transferred from there to a punishment cell.
There has been no information about Mikalai Statkevich for 168 days, the head of correctional colony No. 13, where he is serving his sentence, refers to the poor work of Belpochta, Marina Adamovich, the wife of the political prisoner, said on Facebook on July 27.
According to Adamovich, she personally has no complaints against Belpochta.
The politician’s wife also recalled that they had previously returned the medical package, explaining that “there is no application.”
