stc has strengthened its preparations through its continuous expansion of the network in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah in general, and the Two Holy Mosques in particular, as the network capabilities were expanded by 13% in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and 18% in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah compared to last year, and the coverage of the network increased. The fifth generation by increasing its service sites by 25% in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and 13% in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, as the expansion included the scope of the fifth generation network in the Holy Mosque of Makkah by 130% compared to last year; To ensure the best performance of the network to serve the guests of the Holy House of God.
stc worked on preparing an emergency plan with the competent authorities to achieve rapid response to emergencies and enhance network stability, through the readiness of technical support and maintenance teams around the clock; To enhance the stability of the network and the speed of response to emergency situations, it has also equipped several mobile vehicles to increase the capacity and enhance the coverage, and has developed 96 sites for internal coverage and stations of the critical communications network through the two services, “Risks” and “Miqat”, which provide instant and secure communications, and support vital sectors with the latest fifth generation technologies; To ensure high network performance.
These early preparations come; To ensure the readiness of the Group’s services and digital solutions; To provide a unique experience for the guests of Rahman, through the readiness of the digital infrastructure of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque to receive the million numbers during the blessed month of Ramadan, and preparing all sites for pilgrims, worshipers, visitors, and pilgrims to the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, in a way that guarantees the provision of a distinguished digital experience, and raises the level of quality of services provided to them.
