Mumbai: Today (Tuesday) trading in the Mumbai stock market started with a decline. The Sensex fell 94 points to 61,074 in early trade. Meanwhile, the Nifty fell 34 points to 18,163 in the national stock market.

Today’s trade, the second day of the week, started with a downtrend. As of 09:39 am, the Sensex was down 32.56 points at 61,135.23. The Nifty fell 24.10 points to 18,173.35 on the national bourse.

Indian stock markets opened today’s trade with a downtrend due to unfavorable global environment and decline in Asia-Pacific stocks.

As far as individual stocks are concerned, Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank, Tata Motors, State Bank of India, Tech Mahindra, Bajaj Finserv, TCS, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Asian Paints, Ultra Tech Cements, Infosys, Wipro, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank were the gainers. Among the decliners were HCL Technologies, Titan Company, Power Grid Corporation, NTPC, Maruti Suzuki.
