Dublin Fire Brigade crews were busy rescuing motorists from floodwaters on Dodder Park Road,Kilmacud,and Rathfarnham. The Dodder River overflowed its banks, submerging sections of dodder Park Road. The M50 was temporarily closed at Junction 13 in Dundrum due to flooding, and the M11 northbound at Kilmacanogue was reduced to one lane.
