Strong winds and snow: 24 departments, mainly in the West, in orange vigilance

The wind will blow strong in the west of France this Monday, Météo France alert. The institute placed, this Sunday, 22 departments of the West, from Brittany to the Center, in orange vigilance due to strong winds. Added to this are the departments of Lozère and Cantal, also placed in orange due to snowfall.

“In the night from Sunday to Monday and Monday morning, violent gale linked to the Gerard depression on a northwestern part of the country”, specifies the VigmeteoFrance service. Heavy snowfall is also expected in the south and west of the Massif Central, especially in Aubrac.
