Chennai: Former Union Minister and BJP leader Subramanian Swamy wants the government to confiscate all the assets of Gautam Adani and auction them. The proceeds of the auction should be returned to the losers. Many have connections with Adani. It is not a problem in itself. However, he also said that the purity of the BJP should be ensured in this regard.
He also said that he is standing by the criticisms against Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. He said that Nirmala’s budget does not advance any objective of the government. He said that no budget has been given for agriculture, industry and service sectors and its priorities have not been fixed.
After the Hindenburg report, when Adani Group is in doubt, the BJP leader himself came forward with the statement that the assets of the company should be acquired. Rahul Gandhi had criticized the Prime Minister on the Adani issue the other day.
