jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Indonesian Election Study Institute (LKPI) conducted a survey to find out the choices of the people of Central Java ahead of the Central Java Pilkada regarding figures who have the potential to advance in the regional head election.

It is predicted that a number of figures will take part in the tight competition for the election of Governor of Central Java for the 2024-2029 period.

From the LKPI survey, the names Hendrar Prihadi, Sudaryono, Taj Yasin Maimoen, Dico M. Ganinduto, Muhammad Yusuf Chudlori, and Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi emerged.

LKPI Executive Director Tobus Lubis said the survey was conducted from 12 to 22 April 2024. As a result, the electability of Hendrar Prihadi, former Mayor of Semarang, reached 21.2 percent.

However, what is interesting is in second place, namely Sudaryono as Chairman of the Gerindra Central Java DPD. Sudaryono received 19.1 percent of the vote.

Next there is former Central Java deputy governor Taj Yasin Maimoen with 16.6 percent, Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi as Central Java Regional Police Chief with 11.7 percent.

Then there was Dico M. Ganinduto, former Regent of Kendal, 11.1 percent, Muhammad Yusuf Chudlori, PKB politician, 9.2 percent and those who did not vote reached 11.1 percent.

“Of the 1,820 respondents from Central Java, 49.3 percent knew that there would be Central Java regional elections in November 2024, and 50.7 percent didn’t know or didn’t understand,” he said in a press release, Saturday (27/4).

The results of the LKPI survey show that Sudaryono is one of the top candidates in the Central Java gubernatorial election.
