There was a commotion when the college students suddenly started a road blockade.
It is said that the town bus was being operated daily from Tintiam to Namakkal in Trichy district on behalf of Tamil Nadu Government Transport Corporation when the bus was suddenly stopped.
In this case, the students studying in government and private colleges, who traveled by the bus without paying, took part in a sudden road blockade near the Karthikaipatti division road on the Trichy-Namakkal road yesterday. The police came to the information and negotiated with them. Then the concerned officials said that action will be taken to operate the bus again, the students abandoned the road blockade and left.
