Moscow:
2 soldiers suddenly open fire on other soldiers at a Russian military base near Ukraine. 11 people were killed in this shooting. A further 15 people were injured, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that firing was carried out yesterday in the Belgorod region of southwestern Russia, which borders Ukraine.
It said two volunteer soldiers from the former Soviet Union opened fire on other soldiers during training and were killed in return fire.
The ministry has termed the shooting as a terrorist attack.
