3 ATM centers of State Bank of India and OneIndia ATM center in Tiruvannamalai were robbed in succession. After closing the shutter of the ATM center, the robbers entered and broke the ATM machine by gas welding and looted the money.

In this, Rs 19,50,000 was looted from the SBI ATM center on Mariamman Kovil Street, 4 km from the central area of ​​Thiruvannamalai city. Similarly, Rs 32,00,000 was looted from the Thenimalai SBI ATM center which is 5 kms within the Tiruvannamalai city limits. Also, Rs 3,00,000 was stolen from the OneIndia ATM center at Kalasapakkam, 22 km outside Tiruvannamalai city, and Rs 18,00,000 was stolen from the SBI ATM center at Polur, 35 km from Tiruvannamalai.

A total of Rs 72,50,000 was looted from four ATM centers during the off-peak hours after 12 midnight. After looting the cash, the robbers set fire to the ATM machine with a welding machine and burnt the CCTV cameras and hard disk installed in the ATM center, challenging the police to trace the culprits.
