The annual general meeting (AGM) of Summit Power Limited, a company listed in the energy and power sector of the capital market, will be held on the digital platform.
Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE) sources informed on Thursday (April 4) that the company’s 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on digital platform instead of hybrid system on April 18 at 11:30 am. The record date for this was set on March 14.
According to the directives of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), the regulatory body of the capital market, those companies which are listed in the stock exchange and have been trading in ‘A’ category for five years, those companies can hold AGM and EGM on digital platform.
Summit Power Limited has announced a 10 percent cash dividend for the financial year ending June 30, 2023. The company’s earnings per share (EPS) during the period under discussion was Tk 2.07. In the same period of the previous financial year, the profit per share of this company was 3.87 rupees. As of June 30, 2023, the company’s Asset Value per Share (NAVPS) stood at Tk 38.02.
