New Dermatology Center Aims to Be Model for Patient Care
A new 400 m² facility is designed to offer a comfortable, high-tech experience for both dermatologists and patients.
- A new dermatology center is opening with a focus on modern facilities and patient comfort.
- The center includes consultation rooms, surgery suites, and dedicated spaces for sterilization and patient recovery.
- The lead physician hopes to attract other dermatologists to join the practice and utilize the center for training.
A surgeon, Doctor Dieudonné Ntirandekura, intends to establish a pilot center for dermatological care within a brand new 400 m² establishment. The project’s success hinges on attracting fellow dermatologists, a task he believes the center’s optimal working conditions and the “Po Center” location will facilitate. “Many were waiting to see before deciding,” he said. “Myself, if I arrived at the Pôle de santé ten years ago to work as a private doctor, it was because I was attracted by the building and the modern surgery platforms.”
Comfort for Doctor and Patient
The Po Center boasts four consultation rooms, two specifically designed for local anesthesia surgery, and two welcoming waiting rooms, all equipped with the latest medical technology. But the visible amenities are just the beginning. “We also have a room intended for sterilizing instruments, rest rooms for post-surgery patients, changing rooms and showers, a break room for staff…” Doctor Ntirandekura explained. A full staff, including an administrative secretary, a manager, and a maintenance person, will support the practice.
“Everything has been thought through so that the doctor has only one thing to think about during the consultation: examining the patient and making the diagnosis,” Doctor Ntirandekura stated. “I also wanted to bring a new experience to patients, more comfortable and less anxiety-inducing, outside of a hospital.”
Beyond patient care, Doctor Dieudonné Ntirandekura envisions a high-tech meeting room to host training sessions in general dermatology and imaging techniques for general practitioners and home nurses.
