Singer and actress Adi Beatty will star in director Yehuda Grobeis’ new film “The Forgotten Story,” a period Jewish drama from 250 years ago. Adi was cast by Yossi Hoffman and will play the daughter of the sun of the Baal Shem Tov – the father of the Hasidic movement.

Leah’s father is a rebellious poor man and Leah who is about to get married wants a big beautiful and expensive wedding. Her father tries to raise money for the wedding without success and Leah tries to raise herself by publishing and selling stories of the righteous.
